The founders of Our Homestead, are parents of five adult sons with developmental disabilities. We, like all parents, want to live long enough to make sure our loved ones are well established in a safe home where they can live their best lives. Our Homestead’s Mission and Goals represent the needs of literally hundreds of other families in New Hampshire sharing this same need for housing.
The need is urgent and we are excited to be at the point that we can begin to fund raise and to start to look at potential land on which to build or that has an existing structure that can be renovated to provide needed housing. The cost to build or renovate is significant. We ask for your help and that you share our mission with those you know who have a heart to help. No gift is too small or, of course, too large!
